RE: Gay trans dating.

I can’t help with sites, I’ve had issues with non-specifically trans-inclusive dating sites, nothing harsh, just utter silence every time I re-iterate that I am trans and pre-op (post T). I am now very happy with a boyfriend who identifies as pan(now he knows the word exists) and is cisgendered. It took a little while for us to get together, but once we both got over our crippling shyness, it’s been grossly happy since. He was a friend of a friend. It will happen for you!

I haven’t had any trouble with the gay guys I know but I wasn’t interested in them, so idk how they’d react to my asking them out. I’ve been totally accepted into gay circles, even so much as to have gone on a big gay weekend and shared the hotel room with four other men (only one of whom didn’t know I was trans).

I’m sure it will work out for you, it just takes time.

Disclosure is important though; I know a lot of gay guys that almost have a phobia of man-caves… This in my experience is mostly in the young age bracket of guys below 21, though. Oh by the way I’m in the UK, which has a different scene in many places to what I’ve seen depicted for the US..

Man cave… interesting word for that… lol… Thank you for your insight!  Seriously… it truly helps a lot!  This is an important subject and I’m glad you spoke up! :-D

Thank you very much.  :-)
