Wow.  I’m truly sorry that they’ve said that to you.  Wow.  I HATE it when people tell me things like that because I just don’t get it.  I truly don’t understand how parents can treat their children this way.

Do you have a way to stay with an aunt or uncle?  Would it make sense to try and stay with some friends while your parents sort through their problems?  The fact that they told you that is gross me.  You’re not a disgrace to the family.  Not at all.  You’re being honest and true to yourself and letting them know who you are.

You have my support… completely.  It angers me to hear stuff like this… truly.  Let me know how I can help.  I would recommend seeing about taking some time away.  That may help the situation.  If that’s not an option, the only thing I can offer is to hold your head up high and know that you’ve done NOTHING wrong.  I can promise you that.
